AquaVision 2016 – The programme is launched
Over the past 20 years, AquaVision has established itself as a premium conference for the aquaculture industry. The programme for the conferencetaking place 13 -15 June 2016 is now launched.
As at the previous AquaVison conferences, many of the main topics and liveliest debates will focus on the challenges and opportunities facing aquaculture today and in the future. This year’s speaker line up includes a range of experts, industryleaders, academics and other high-profile representatives from our industry. Among them Professor Louise O. Fresco, Wageningen University, will discuss the aquaculture industry’s role in the world’s food supply, while Professor Ragnar Tveteraas, University of Stavanger, will look at cost development within the industry, as well as global lessons and future prospects. Andrew Mallison, IFFO, will provide insight into the development of the fish oil and fish protein market in the years to come. More speakers will be announced in the near future.
AquaVision is a world-class aquaculture conference that attracts a diverse range of stakeholders to Stavanger every two years and will do so again in June 2016. The conference, organised by Skretting and its parent company Nutreco since 1996, has established itself as an important meeting place for some 400 participants from more than 40 countries.
The theme for AquaVision 2016 is "Meeting tomorrow today" and the two day programme will discuss on the main topics: "The blue revolution" and "Beyond tomorrow".
Skretting and Nutreco are finalising the details for this 11th AquaVision conference. It will bring a wide range of speakers from all continents and will give delegates a unique combination of information and opinion.
