The future belongs to aquaculture. Quality, safety, sustainability and environment are all key elements to success in a changing world and aquaculture must meet these challenges in a pro-active manner.
As the global leader within micro nutrients and performance materials, innovation is an essential part of DSM´s philosophy and core values. Therefore, DSM wishes to encourage innovative solutions within aquaculture by giving an "AquaVision Innovation Award"
Companies, individuals, organizations and government agencies world-wide are invited to apply for the AquaVision Innovation Award.
What innovations?
The innovation should be in the area of aquaculture and break with convention, going beyond marginal improvements in existing products and services.

AquaVision and DSM have selected a jury of specialist to evaluate the innovations:

The Prize
The winner will be announced at the second AquaVision conference day, June 9th, 2010 and honored with a EUR 10.000 award.

About AquaVision
AquaVision 2010 will be held on 7-9th June in Stavanger, Norway. Since its beginning in 1996 AquaVision has developed as a leading meeting place for decision makers in modern aquaculture worldwide. Bringing together 500 top leaders from this food producing value chain, AquaVision sets the direction for future development in fish farming and other kinds of aquaculture.
Expected to attract a diverse range of stakeholders, AquaVision 2010 will be the eighth World Aquaculture Business Conference. The 2010 event will address management issues related to future growth, perception and innovation. AquaVision is organised by Skretting and parent company Nutreco with day-to-day coordination by Blue Planet.
